The project included the implementation of an energy management system according to ISO 50001 in 9 countries to fulfill the EU energy efficiency directive and its implementations into national legislation. It started in 2015 and is still ongoing, including auditing, training, further development and improvement of the EnMS.
Our solution
The EnMS was implemented simultaneously in 5 countries in the first year and again in 4 countries in the second year of the project. The implementation process took place via regular group workshops together with all participating country energy managers. In addition, each energy manager was individually supported with the implementation in the respective country and its specifics.
